However, through all his ups and downs, he always dreamt and hoped of one day becoming a world renowned author.įor four long years, he worked on a manuscript to an epic fantasy novel called Helmdör which he poured all of his free time and energy into. With a wealth of potential and mounds of ambitions, Najeev failed to find the confidence and belief in himself to succeed.įortunately, giving up was also not in his nature.ĭespite being an intelligent individual, Najeev struggled through high school, often day-dreaming in class, then went onto stumble about through a number of degree programmes and diplomas while attending a few postsecondary institutions. With a lack of cable television and video games, Najeev turned to reading books and watching fantastical films as his pastime. But upon further reflection, he wound back the clock to the autumn of 1991 when he was first introduced to Robert McConnell’s classic children’s book, Norbert Nipkin.
